The 4th Asian Concrete Federation (ACF) Symposium on Emerging Technologies for Structural Longevity (ACF2022_ETSL) will be held in Shenzhen, China on 27-29 November 2022. ACF2022_ETSL is the official conference series of ACF. 

    ACF was officially established in 2004. Since its established, ACF has made constant effort to contribute to the scientific research and engineering practice in the Asia region, which significantly promoted the development and application of new technology in the field of concrete structure. To provide a good platform for academic communication and scientific cooperation, ACF holds an international academic conference in Asian countries every two years. At the 6th ACF International Conference held in Seoul, South Korea in 2014, it was decided to hold “ACF Symposium” in alternate years to the ACF Conference. The 1st ACF Symposium on “Ultra-High-Performance Concrete” was held in Kolkata, India (7 October 2015), the 2nd ACF Symposium on “Innovations for Sustainable Concrete Infrastructures” was held in Chiang Mai, Thailand (23-25 November 2017), and the 3rd ACF Symposium on “Assessment and Intervention of Existing Structures” was held in Sapporo, Japan (10-11 September 2019). 

    The ACF2022_ETSL will be jointly hosted by the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering (CCTE) of Shenzhen University and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Following the well-established tradition of the ACF conference series, ACF2022_ETSL will provide an international forum for all concerned with sustainability of concrete infrastructure to exchange recent advances in both research and practice, and promote international collaboration for the future in the field.
